From northern New York to Mexico, Ukraine, North Carolina and now Maine, Alaina Mallette ’29 has built a career around understanding how people interact with the places they call home. After years working in environmental policy and land-use planning, she came to Maine Law to gain the legal tools to help communities navigate growth, conservation, and change.
