Laura S. Page

Professor Laura Page is the Director of Academic Success and Associate Professor at the University of Maine School of Law. Her role spans from pre- to post-law school, encompassing teaching, academic advising, skill workshops, accommodation implementation, directing the Academic Success Fellow program, and bar exam preparation.

With a background in law and educational psychology, Professor Page approaches the field of academic success and bar exam preparation through a person-first lens, focusing on developing the skills, competencies, and habits necessary to succeed in law school and the legal profession. She has a special passion for supporting neurodivergent learners and those with other learning needs.

A North Carolina native, Professor Page graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Behavioral and Learning Disabilities.  While in law school, she served as President of the Poverty Law Society, Director of Street Law, and Managing Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law.  She worked as a peer tutor, student attorney in the Pediatric Advocacy and Workers Rights Clinics, and as a contributor to the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse. 

Prior to joining Maine Law, Professor Page served as the inaugural Director of Academic Success at Tulane University Law School and spent over ten years working with students with disabilities in K-12 education settings as a teacher, instructional coach, advocate, and attorney. She has a special passion for supporting neurodivergent learners and 

Outside of work, Professor Page enjoys baking, spending time near any body of water, and exploring new spots in Portland with her canine sidekick Phoebe.
