Duncan Farley

Duncan Farley serves as Special Assistant for the Office of Student Affairs at Maine Law, where he is dedicated to supporting the academic, professional, and personal success of every student. In this role, Duncan collaborates closely with students, faculty, and staff to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, providing guidance on student services, wellness initiatives, and community engagement.

Duncan brings a wealth of experience in higher education and student affairs to Maine Law. Prior to joining the Law School, he served as Director of Student Life at Kennebec Valley Community College, where he led initiatives to enhance student engagement and campus life. He also held the roles of Area Director and Coordinator for Student Housing at the University of Maine at Farmington, overseeing residential life and supporting students’ transition to college.

Duncan holds an M.S. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine, a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington, and a Certificate in Gerontology from York County Community College. His professional background reflects a deep commitment to student development, equity, and well-being.

At Maine Law, Duncan is a resource for students navigating the challenges and opportunities of law school. He is passionate about building a vibrant, supportive community and advancing the Law School’s mission to prepare future leaders for service in Maine and beyond.
