Alexandra Anderson
Ally Anderson brings a deep commitment to student success and years of experience working in varied legal settings to her role as the Director of Career Development. Anderson joined the Maine Law community in spring 2026, initially providing part-time career counseling focused on judicial clerkships. This role affirmed her passion for supporting Maine Law students and graduates as they pursue meaningful and rewarding careers.
A graduate of Wesleyan University and Boston University School of Law, Anderson began her legal career as a litigation associate in the Boston office of a global law firm. She has since served as a legal fellow with the Natural Resources Defense Council and clerked for the Honorable Chief Justice Valerie Stanfill and the Honorable Associate Justice Rick E. Lawrence of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Her professional background also includes experience at a midsize labor law firm in Central New York and at a boutique trusts, estates, and elder law practice in Falmouth, Maine.
Anderson resides in Raymond with her partner and their dog. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring Maine’s outdoors, and performing in Latvian Song and Dance festivals.
